session, ending with a unique performance.
This performance combined an interactive drumming session
with a drum, dance and acrobatic performance for the
finale. The 40 minute show took place in Cape Town -
for the International Luxury Hotel Owners conference
- as the highlight of the weekend's activities.
This custom made performance combined interactive african
drumming, using Djembes, doun douns (african bass drums),
congas & bongos with special guest percussionist
Minel Melendez from Cuba featuring on Timbales, bells
and percussion - fusing traditional African drumming
with modern Cuban percussion to create driving rhythms,
punctuated by fiery solos. The finale featured an acrobatic
and fire performance to end the show on a high note.
